Clark's Lawn Service

About Clark's Lawn Service

The hills around Chandlersville were never flattened by ice, so the roads go where the hollows let them and every drive is a small piece of engineering. Clark's Lawn Service mows and trims those ridge-top yards in summer, when the hayfields go silver in the wind and the fog sits in the bottoms until nine. Winter turns the same slopes into a matter of plowing and shoveling, opening the steep approaches so nobody has to back down one. Muskingum County weather is a local affair — a ridge can hold three inches while the valley shows bare grass. Working it takes knowing the ground, and the ground here is worth knowing.
