Chagrin Valley Snow Removal

About Chagrin Valley Snow Removal

Lake Erie throws its snow inland in long narrow bands, and the ground east of Cleveland climbs just enough to catch them and hold on. Chagrin Valley Snow Removal is built around the hours nobody sees — two, three, four in the morning, blade down, the village unlit, the falls running black under a white rim. Driveways get opened first, then the walks, then salt goes down where the sun will not reach until noon. There is a particular satisfaction in an eight-inch overnight that ends with a homeowner backing out at seven as though nothing had happened. Winter in this valley does not ask permission, so the answer is simply to be out ahead of it.
