Basinger’s Lawn Care

About Basinger’s Lawn Care

Carey fills up in August, when pilgrims walk the street to the Basilica of Our Lady of Consolation and the whole town seems to be outdoors at once. Basinger's Lawn Care spends that season making the village look the way visitors imagine it: grass cut even, trimmer line run clean around every post and hydrant, clippings off the sidewalk before anyone comes by. Wyandot County lies flat and generous under a wide Ohio sky, so a well-kept yard reads from a block away. Between the mowings there is edging, string trimming and the seasonal cleanup that clears a lawn for winter and opens it again in spring. There is a plain satisfaction in a town that looks cared for, and Carey wears it well.
