Whistle Pig Mountain Lawn Care & Landscaping

About Whistle Pig Mountain Lawn Care & Landscaping

East of Canton the land stops being flat: the ground gathers itself toward East Canton and Waynesburg, hedgerows thicken along the fencerows, and a groundhog stands up in the tall grass to watch a truck go by. Whistle Pig Mountain Lawn Care & Landscaping works that rolling country and the city streets below it, mowing on the contour and trimming around every post and stone. On late-summer evenings the light goes long and gold across a fresh-cut slope, mulch dark in the beds, shrubs shaped back off the windows. Landscaping in this part of Stark County means reading hills that shed water fast and clay that holds it, then setting beds so the rain goes where you want it. The good part of the day is the last look back from the tailgate.
