Tournoux Landcare Service

About Tournoux Landcare Service

Winter arrives in Canton on a west wind, in bands that slide down off Lake Erie and thicken over Stark County before first light. That is the hour Tournoux Landcare Service keeps: plow down, lights on, a long empty lot turned back into pavement while the rest of the block is still dark. Nimishillen Creek runs black between white banks, and the neighborhoods above it wake to driveways already open. There is a plain satisfaction in a clean edge along a curb, in salt laid down where the shade never lets go. Snow removal here is not glamorous work — it is simply the work that lets a Tuesday happen.
