Days Lawn Care

About Days Lawn Care

Canton wakes early in summer, light coming up over brick side streets and the low bend of Nimishillen Creek before the day finds its heat. Days Lawn Care works those hours, mowers down while the grass still holds dew and the stripes laid straight across yards from the west side out toward Meyers Lake. There is a plain pleasure in an edge cut clean along a sidewalk, the clippings swept back, a strip of turf that looks like someone meant it. Come October the maples on the residential blocks let go all at once, and the work turns to leaves, hauling the season off a lawn a yard at a time. Ordinary upkeep, kept going week after week, in a city that respects a job finished properly.
