Grandpa Ron's Lawns and Landscape

About Grandpa Ron's Lawns and Landscape

Down at Lockville the old canal locks still hold their cut stone in the bank, water long gone, the shape of the work left behind for anyone who walks up on it. There is a lesson in that about doing a thing properly the first time. We mow on a steady week, edge the walks and drives, trim what the deck misses, mulch the beds and clean the yard up in spring and again when the leaves come down. When winter arrives we plow the drives, shovel the walks and salt the ice so the household can get out in the morning. Same ground, same hands, whichever way the weather is running.
