About Laughman Lawn & Landscapes, LLC

On a June evening in Byesville the air cools first down in the Wills Creek bottoms, and the village lots hold that green smell of cut grass long after the mowers have quit. Laughman Lawn & Landscapes, LLC works those Guernsey County yards, the narrow ones between older houses and the wider places out where the bottomland gives way to hill. Mowing is done on a line that suits the lot, trimming taken around the porch skirt, the pump house and the fence corner, and the walk blown off so the finish shows. Beds get mulched dark, edged into a clean curve, and shrubs kept back from the windows where they always want to crowd. Then the leaves come off the hillsides and get cleared away, and the yards go under winter looking settled.
