About Prairie Lawn Care & Landscaping

West and south of Bucyrus the ground still remembers being prairie — the Sandusky Plains, where big bluestem stands shoulder-high in the remnants that were never turned under. Prairie Lawn Care & Landscaping takes its name from that country and tends the yards laid across it. Warm months mean mowing, string trimming, edging and the cleanups that bookend a growing season; cold ones mean plowing driveways and lots, opening walks, and putting salt down where ice sets up. Open land gives generously and takes the same way — full sun all summer, then nothing at all to slow the February wind. Keeping a place tidy on ground like this is a steady, unglamorous pleasure.
