About Mo’s Lawn Maintenance LLC
Saturday morning on Memphis Avenue: the little steel coaster at the kiddie park starts its slow circuits, and half of Brooklyn is outside with something in its hands. Mo's Lawn Maintenance LLC is out too, mowing yard after yard, running edges along the walkways, trimming close to the chain link so a whole lot reads as one clean shape. Small lawns are unforgiving — a missed strip shows from the sidewalk — which is why the pattern gets finished properly every time. By afternoon the block smells like cut grass and charcoal, which is about as well as a Brooklyn summer can be described. Lawn care here and on the nearby streets, week in and week out.
