Simmons Landscape & Irrigation

About Simmons Landscape & Irrigation

By late August a dry spell shows itself everywhere in Wood County — creeks running low, the clay opening in fine cracks, lawns gone straw-colored between rains. Simmons Landscape & Irrigation moves through that stretch carefully, mowing high while the heat is on so turf keeps its roots shaded and holds color as long as it can. The weekly round takes in the fence lines with a trimmer and the drives and walks with an edger, plus cleanups when the season finally turns. Then the September rain arrives, green comes rushing back, and the lawn that was managed through the drought is the one that recovers first. Around here the patience shows up later, and it always shows.
