About 2nd Chance Lawn Care, LLC

April in Blanchard Township is black soil and big sky — old Black Swamp country drained level, hedgerows thin, every road running true to the section line. 2nd Chance Lawn Care, LLC starts the year there with cleanups, pulling winter's litter off the grass, then falls into a mowing rhythm as the yards green up along the Blanchard River. Trimming follows the mower around foundations, posts and tree rings, and edging gives the drive its line back after the long cold. By fall the work turns to leaves, chased across open ground by a wind that has nothing at all to slow it down. A cut lawn under that much sky reads like a made bed.
