The Muskingum comes through Beverly slow and wide, past the hand-operated lock that still steps boats down the river toward Marietta. M2 Property Services keeps the lawns on both sides of that water — mowing the river-flat yards and the terraces above them, trimming the tight spots, edging drives and walks, clearing beds in the shoulder seasons. Bottomland soil along the Muskingum grows grass in a hurry once May warms up, and it takes a weekly cut to stay in front of it. Later in the year the sycamores drop and the leaf work carries on into November. A yard that looks cared for from the road — that is the whole of the job.
