Schumacher Lawns & Landscaping

About Schumacher Lawns & Landscaping

In May the township smells like lilac and gasoline and cut grass, all at once, and every dooryard seems to be under construction at the same time. Schumacher Lawns & Landscaping moves through that season steadily: the lawns mowed and trimmed, the borders around beds and foundations cut back to a firm line, the walks blown clean at the end of each visit. Out where the yards run up against pasture and woodlot, the edge is what makes a place look intentional rather than merely mown — so the edging gets its own attention. Later the leaves come and the cleanups take over, and the ground goes into the cold season clear. Same handful of tasks every week, done carefully, adding up to a property that looks well kept from the mailbox.
