About LaGrange Lawn Art Plus

September slants the light low across Belpre, and a mown lawn stops being just a lawn — the stripes stand up, one pass silver and the next one deep green, all the way to the hedge. LaGrange Lawn Art Plus takes the name seriously: the pattern is chosen before the first pass, the turns are kept off the turf, and the finished yard has a shape to it. Trimming follows the mowing, edges get cut back to a true line, and the walks are cleared so the whole picture holds together. As the season turns, leaves come off the river maples in a hurry and the cleanups begin, leaving the ground open and tidy for winter. Grass is a humble material, but worked with care it can be genuinely beautiful, and that idea is enough to build a week around.
