About JDC Landscaping

First light in September, and the lawns off Willis Street are silver with dew until the sun clears the rooftops. JDC Landscaping mows straight through it, laying down stripes that go dark and pale as you walk the sidewalk past them. The work is steady and unshowy — cutting on schedule, trimming the fence lines, edging the walk, carrying off the clippings and the earliest leaves. Bedford lawns take a hard summer and then turn generous again in the cool weeks, and September is when they look most awake. Finishing a street with every yard cut and every edge true is a fine way to spend a morning.
