About Earth Works Landscaping

Spring runoff turns Bramley Falls loud, and for a few weeks Tinker's Creek carries half the county's meltwater over the shale ledges. Earth Works Landscaping begins its year in that same rising water — raking winter out of the turf, taking the first cut, edging walks that have been under snow since December. Summer settles into mowing and trimming on a schedule, and by the time those ledges hang with icicles again the work is plowing, salting and clearing a path to the door. Bedford soil runs heavy and full of stone, so a lawn that looks effortless here has usually been coaxed into it. Seeing one green and level in June is the payment.
