About Bob Kutz!

Midsummer in Bedford arrives as a sound: a mower going somewhere down the block, cicadas up in the maples, a hose running on a July lawn. Bob Kutz! keeps lawns inside that rhythm — cutting on a steady cycle, trimming close along fences and foundations, edging the walks until the concrete shows its true width again. August bakes the thin spots on these city lots, so the deck goes up a notch and the grass is allowed to keep its own shade. Bedford yards are mostly modest and squared-off, which makes a finished pattern easy to read from the porch. That is the whole reward: a small green rectangle, honestly kept.
