Hess Tree Service

About Hess Tree Service

The East Fork of the Little Miami runs slow past Batavia, and the sycamores along it carry the biggest limbs in the county — the kind that come down all at once when they finally go. Hess Tree Service works that bottomland and the ridges above it: removal where a trunk has taken a lean toward a house, trimming to clear a roof and a drive, pruning that keeps a shade tree balanced over a Clermont County backyard. Storms push up the valley out of the southwest and leave whatever they leave; the clearing afterward hauls the wood off and lets the grass close over the tracks. Around the courthouse square the trees are old enough to shape how the village looks, and out toward Harsha Lake the woods start at the fence line. Both kinds deserve to be worked with a plan rather than a hurry.
