Yard-Worx

About Yard-Worx

Follow the Tuscarawas out past the old canal line and the ground begins to roll, Wolf Creek slipping westward under the road toward Norton. Late afternoon in October is the hour Yard-Worx likes best — long shadows laid across the grass, maples letting go, mower and blower working the last warm light of the day. Yard-Worx cuts, trims the borders tight and clears fallen leaves off lawns and driveways so a place goes into the cold tidy instead of buried. Spring pulls the other way: that first pass of the year on grass that spent months under Summit County gray, and the smell of it afterward. A small yard on a brick street near downtown and a wide one out toward New Franklin get the same lines and the same finish. Ordinary work, done well, and it makes a whole block look looked-after.
