About Williams Window Cleaning & Gutters

There is a particular window-light on the day after a Southern snow — hard, blue, unfiltered, coming up off the white and into every room. Williams Window Cleaning & Gutters spends that kind of winter on the other side of the glass in South Cleveland: plowing drives, cutting walks open to the street, breaking ice along entries and treating whatever refreezes in the afternoon shade. Traffic on APD-40 will have the highway black by noon, but the driveway does not clear itself, and neither does the path to the porch. Working with glass all year teaches a person to want a thing genuinely finished — no streak, no ragged half-inch left behind. A walk opened to its full width, edge to edge, is that same instinct in a heavier coat.
