About Leafline Tree Service

Avon Lake takes its weather from the water, and everything growing here knows it. The wind comes straight off Erie all winter and works on the crowns nearest the shore, which is why a cottonwood on Lake Road stands differently than one a mile inland. Leafline Tree Service reads that difference — removals for the trees the lake has finished with, trimming that takes weight out of a sail-shaped canopy before the next gale, pruning that leaves a young maple able to take the push. After a spring blow scatters branches through the yards between Walker Road and the beach, the cleanup runs to the last stick and the grass shows nothing but grass. A sunset over open water is worth an unbroken sightline, and holding one open is part of the job.
