Athens Tree and Lawn Service

About Athens Tree and Lawn Service

The old streets of West Athens are shaded by trees that have watched decades of the neighborhood go by — carobs, magnolias, the jacarandas that turn whole blocks violet in May. Athens Tree and Lawn Service works both halves of its name: up in those canopies trimming limbs clear of roofs and wires, and down on the parkway lawns keeping the grass cut and the edges true. Tree and turf are one picture from the sidewalk, and the job is not done until the picture is right — crowns balanced, lawn striped, every leaf of the day's work hauled away. This corner of Los Angeles County takes visible pride in its front yards, and the work returns it. West Athens is the center, with Westmont, Inglewood, and the surrounding South LA neighborhoods close by.
