Vermilion Land Clearing Services

About Vermilion Land Clearing Services

Between Amherst and Vermilion the country is a patchwork of woodlots, fencerows and long gravel drives that wind back farther than they look from the road. In winter those are the drives that get forgotten — narrow, tree-lined, drifted shut at the mouth where the field wind crosses. Vermilion Land Clearing Services runs snow work through that ground: plowing drives and lots, cutting them wide enough to actually use, clearing walks, and salting the shaded stretches where ice hangs on past noon. Storms off the water can arrive fast and settle in for a while, so the work goes storm by storm, sometimes twice in one night. A drive opened before the alarm goes off is a small thing right up until it's yours.
