About R Barson Trucking, L.L.C.

Amherst was built from its own bedrock: the buff sandstone quarried nearby earned the town the nickname Sandstone Center of the World, and it still warms the old downtown storefronts on a grey winter day. When snow blows in off Lake Erie, a few miles to the north, it gathers on those stone sills and drifts across the driveways and business lots of this Lorain County quarry town. R Barson Trucking, L.L.C. answers with snow removal, pushing the white aside so trucks, cars and early risers can roll out on time. A cleared lot at first light, plow lines running straight as the grain in a cut stone, is its own kind of handsome. In a town whose foundations were cut from the ground beneath it, keeping the way open feels like part of the same steady story.
