Born's Landscape & Lawn Care

About Born's Landscape & Lawn Care

South and west of Amherst the ground opens into orchard and field — Brownhelm apples, hayfields, fencerows going gold through October. That turn of the year is the busiest stretch: last mows of the season, leaves pulled off the beds, everything cut back and put away before the first serious snow crosses over from the water. Then the work changes shape entirely — plowing drives, clearing walks, laying salt where shade keeps a patch of ice all day long. Landscape and lawn work run the other half of the calendar: mowing, trimming, bed care and cleanups from the first warm week onward. The pleasure is in the handoff — a yard closed out clean in November and opened up green in April by the same hands.
