About Above The Lawn Care LLC

Amherst rides the old beach ridges — ground Lake Erie left behind when the water stood higher and the shoreline ran miles inland. A lawn up on the ridge drains differently than one down toward the flats, and cutting it right means reading that tilt before the blades ever spin. This is lawn care built on attention: a straight pass, a trim line held tight to the foundation, walks blown bare so the concrete looks like it was drawn with a ruler. In June the grass comes on fast and the work is weekly and relentless; by October it slows and the leaves take over, and the route follows the calendar wherever it goes. The reward is small and repeatable — a yard that looks tended from the street, every week, without anybody at the house having to think about it.
