Harvey’s lawn and care

About Harvey’s lawn and care

Federal Creek runs through Amesville with the hills standing close on both sides, and on a June morning the fog lifts off the water before the sun clears the ridge. Harvey's lawn and care mows the yards in that narrow green valley — village lots, creekside lawns, the sloped ground behind houses that nobody wants to walk a mower across. Grass grows thick and quick in bottomland like this, and it takes weekly attention to keep it from turning back into a meadow. Trimmed around the posts and porch steps, cut evenly down to the fence, a small yard here can look like a park. Then the evening comes down the hollow early, and the day is done.
