Relentless Landscapes

About Relentless Landscapes

Lake Erie sends its snow inland in bands, and Akron sits far enough south that a squall can stall over one street and skip the next entirely. Relentless Landscapes goes out into that arithmetic all winter, plowing driveways and lots, clearing walks, treating whatever refuses to break loose on its own. Some nights it is a single clean pass; some nights it is four, because the sky keeps reloading off the water. Each round ends the same way, with a drive scraped down to the surface before the alarm clocks go off. In deep January that is the whole ambition, and it is plenty.
