About New Era Designs

At four in the morning in January, when a squall has slid down off the lake and Green is quiet the whole way out to Nimisila, a driveway is only a dark rectangle somebody has to make usable by seven. New Era Designs plows and clears through those hours — driveways, parking areas, and the walkways people actually put their feet on — then takes the same routes into April as a mowing list. There is a specific pride in a lot already open when the first car turns in, and in a shoveled path to a side door nobody thought to ask about. The warm months run quieter: cutting, string trimming, edging, and a sweep of the walk before the truck pulls away. Two very different kinds of work, one set of streets, learned by heart.
