About Alyssias Lawn Services

Highland Square under a snowy streetlight is one of Akron's better sights: porches stacked close, tree lawns barely a stride wide, everything gone soft and orange. Alyssias Lawn Services is out in that light with a plow and a shovel, because these blocks need both — the drive opened, then the walk and the steps cut clean by hand. Tight quarters reward patience; you stack the snow where it will not block a sightline or bury a neighbor's mailbox, and you spread salt under the porch overhang where the drip line glazes overnight. By the time the first bus grinds up the hill, the sidewalks are walkable and the drives are open. Winter here is long, and the work keeps pace with it.
