J & W Lawn Service

About J & W Lawn Service

In Adena the yards go up as much as they go out — the village sits in a fold of eastern Ohio hill country where Short Creek runs and the streets climb away from the water. J & W Lawn Service mows those hillside lots, trims the steep banks a deck cannot reach, edges along the sidewalks and stone steps, and clears the clippings before they can travel downhill on their own. Summer evenings carry cut grass mixed with the green damp of the wooded ravines behind the houses. Come autumn the same slopes fill with leaves, and they get brought down to the curb so the lawn can breathe through winter. It is close work, done near home, and a whole street shows it at once.
