Nodine Hill goes up so steeply that some front lawns are more wall than yard, and in midsummer the mower has to be walked, not driven. Tera Landscaping Corp. does that walking — mowing, trimming to the fence line, edging along the steps, mulching the narrow beds that hold the slope together. Hedges get shaped so a porch keeps its view down the block. The cleanups come in spring to open everything up, and again in fall to carry the leaves down before rain glues them to the pavement. There is nothing showy about the result; there is just a hillside street in Yonkers that looks kept.
