Route 212 out toward Bearsville turns gold early, and by September the lawns beneath it are still growing while everything above them lets go. Gallo's of Woodstock keeps the mowing running late into that stretch, trims the borders, edges the pavement lines, and gathers clippings and leaves as they fall. Come April the work reverses: the cleanup lifts the winter mat off the grass and opens the beds back up. It is plain, steady work on Woodstock ground, and a finished yard shows it plainly from the road.
