About Larry Romance & Son, Inc

Route 417 climbs and falls the whole way through Woodhull, and nearly every farmhouse along it sits with its lawn cut into a hillside. Larry Romance & Son, Inc mows that kind of ground — slopes, ditch banks, the long strip between the road and the yard — trimming around fence posts and propane tanks and edging the walk right up to the door. Late-summer light comes across those ridges gold and low, and a freshly cut hillside holds it beautifully. Nothing gets left lying in the roadway; it all goes back onto the grass where it started. Woodhull, Jasper, Addison and the roads that connect them.
