In July the Batavia Kill runs cold through Windham's meadows and everything in the valley grows at once, fast and rank and lovely. Mtn. Top Lawn & Landscapes keeps pace with it, mowing on rotation, trimming close against stone walls and posts, edging drives, hauling the debris out in spring and again in the fall. December then rearranges the job entirely, and those same properties get plowed, shoveled at the walks and sanded on the grades. Two trades over one set of places, learned by heart in both weathers. There is a real pleasure in knowing a yard well enough to find its edges under a foot of snow.
