About John W. Sheehan and Sons, Inc.

In the middle of Willsboro the Boquet River drops over its ledge and keeps talking all winter, even under ice. John W. Sheehan and Sons, Inc. works the hamlet on storm nights, plowing driveways and cutting back the aprons where a bank would otherwise close a house in. Sidewalks and steps get shoveled down to a walkable surface and sanded before the village wakes. Salting the slick stretch near the bridge is small work with a large effect. By breakfast the streets look ordinary again, which is the entire point of the night.
