Yaddow's Seasonal Services

About Yaddow's Seasonal Services

There are two sets of tires in the barn, and the calendar decides which ones go on. Yaddow's Seasonal Services runs the Whitesboro streets and the roads out toward Oriskany, mowing, edging, trimming and feeding lawns while the valley is green, then plowing, shoveling and salting once the light goes short and the cold takes hold across the flats. Autumn means leaves gathered off before the first hard freeze locks them to the ground; April means the cleanup that carries away whatever the plows and the wind left behind. Every property gets seen twice a year in two completely different states, which amounts to a long acquaintance. The work changes; the address doesn't.
