The best part of a Mount Pleasant snowstorm is the afternoon it ends: the sky opens, the drifts turn blue in the shadows, and the whole town can hear itself digging out. Vallejo Outdoors is already on the second pass by then, widening driveways back to their real edges and clearing the steep ones that fall away from the ridge roads.
