About Baer Landscaping

At three in the morning a Sullivan County snowfall is the most silent thing there is, the hills above White Lake gone shapeless and the lake itself only a paler patch of the dark. Baer Landscaping is out in it, plowing driveways, clearing walks and treating the ice so the road side of a house is open by breakfast and stays open through the next band. Winters run long in these Catskill foothills, and the work gets measured in the hours before dawn. Summer is the other half of the year — mowing, trimming, holding lawns even through the humid green stretch when everything grows twice as fast as anyone expects. Same roads, same houses, two entirely different kinds of quiet.
