White Creek lies right up against the Vermont line, in a fold of dairy farms and wooded hills where the Owl Kill runs down toward the Hoosic. Summer evenings stretch out here — hay wagons still moving at seven, the light going soft on the ridges east of town. BCD Landscaping works the lawns in that country: mowing, trimming around barns and stone, edging walks and drives, and two clearings a year, one to open the season and one to shut it. A country lawn asks for a broad, even cut and clean lines wherever it meets something else, and getting that right makes an old farmhouse look properly minded. White Creek, Cambridge, Eagle Bridge, Shushan and Hoosick Falls are all within the run.
