Reis's Leaf Cleanup Service

About Reis's Leaf Cleanup Service

By early November the maples along Wheatland's back roads have given up everything they had, and the wind off the flats collects it against porches, fences and hedge lines. Reis's Leaf Cleanup Service exists for exactly that stretch of the calendar — blowing and raking the yard clear, pulling the leaves out of beds and corners, hauling the load off so the lawn goes into winter breathing. Through the green months the work is the ordinary, necessary kind: mowing on schedule, keeping the edges trimmed, holding a yard even from week to week. There is something plainly good about a lawn stripped clean at dusk in late fall, woodsmoke somewhere down the road, everything set right before the hard weather. Wheatland, Scottsville, Mumford and the neighboring Monroe County towns are all served.
