About Sterling Tree & Lawn Service

Westhampton grows on sand — pitch pine and scrub oak on one side of the road, clipped lawn on the other, and salt in the air whenever the wind swings in off the ocean. Sterling Tree & Lawn Service keeps those yards through the warm months with mowing, trimming, edging and cleanups, then turns to drives and walks when a nor'easter comes up the coast. Sand drains almost too well out here, and holding a lawn green through August takes steady attention. Winter storms arrive wet and heavy off the water; plowing a drive at five in the morning, salting the front steps and cutting a path to the door is work nobody watches and everybody needs. Westhampton, Westhampton Beach, Quogue, Remsenburg, Speonk and Eastport all sit inside the territory.
