About Chautauqua Excavation Services LLC

Lake Erie makes its own weather, and Westfield lives downwind of it — a band can set up off the water and bury the escarpment road while the village a few miles north stays merely grey. Chautauqua Excavation Services LLC works both halves of that year: plowing drives and lots, clearing walks, pushing the banks back and salting through the winter, then mowing, trimming and hauling off the cleanups once the ground dries. Winter nights run long and loud, and the end of one at first light, every drive open behind you, is what the night was for. Come July the same properties want a different order — grass held even, edges tight, the place looking cared for rather than merely kept. The territory covers Westfield, Barcelona, Ripley, Mayville and the vineyard roads between.
