About Aero Snow Removal Corporation

Westbury sits on the old Hempstead Plains, flat enough that a January wind has nothing to lean against and pushes snow into long fins across every open lot. Aero Snow Removal Corporation reads that flatness the way a sailor reads water — where the drift will build, which corner will glaze first, which lot needs another pass before the sun comes up. When a nor'easter swings in off the Atlantic and the whole village goes quiet under it, the trucks are already moving. Plowing, shoveling, salting and sanding, and hauling the piles off when there is nowhere left to stack them. By the time the first commuter turns a key, the pavement is dark and open again.
