About Herbland Landscaping

High Tor and Low Tor lie along the sky above Haverstraw like two long shoulders of trap rock, and in October the woods beneath them turn copper almost overnight. Herbland Landscaping spends that stretch mowing what is still growing and clearing what has already let go — leaves off the beds, borders cut back sharp, the lawn taken down to its winter length. Earlier, in June, the same yards want nothing more than a weekly pass and an honest edge along the walk. The ridge never changes and the grass never stops changing, and the work lives right between the two. A yard left tidy under those hills is worth the drive home in the dark.
