About Chip's Landscaping

High Tor stands over West Haverstraw, and in September the ridge starts turning well before the lawns down in the village do. Chip's Landscaping works those weeks hard — mowing while the grass is still running, trimming tight along fences and foundations, edging the walks so every yard reads finished from the street. The ground at the foot of the ridge holds water in the low spots and dries fast on the rises, so the same block can want two different cuts on the same day. Attention like that is most of the job. When the leaves come down the cleanup follows, and the season closes clean.
