About Rustic Roots Landscape Creations

April is the honest month on Long Island: one warm week and the grass wakes up all over West Babylon, the way the willows down at Belmont Lake go green ahead of everything else. Rustic Roots Landscape Creations opens the year with spring cleanup — winter debris off the turf, beds cut back to a clean line, the first mowing taken before the growth gets ahead of itself. From there it is weekly work into the summer: cutting, trimming close around posts and plantings, keeping the borders sharp. There is craft in an edge that follows a curved walk without wobbling once. By November the leaves are off and the yard is squared away for the cold.
