About Zimmerman Outdoor Services

Above Wellsville the roads climb out of the valley fast, and by a December dusk the wind up there is doing most of the talking. Zimmerman Outdoor Services works those grades and the flat village streets both, plowing driveways and lots, clearing walks down to footing, and putting ice control where a slope makes it necessary. Southern Tier snow tends to come in squalls — twenty quiet minutes, then a wall of it — so a driveway opened at nine may well want opening again at one. Coming back is simply part of the job. There is something plainly good about a cleared drive at first light, the bank squared off and the walk down to bare ground.
