About Stars and Stripes Landscaping LLC

Above Ellenville the cliffs at Sam's Point catch the last sun of the day and hold it long after the valley floor has gone blue. Stars and Stripes Landscaping LLC works that floor below — cuts kept to the calendar, trimming, a defined edge along walks and drives, beds mulched, shrubs shaped, and hauling off the spring and autumn debris a wooded valley supplies so generously. The old canal line still threads this country, and the lots out on the flats are deep and open, the kind that reward a straight pass and a clean turn at the end. There is pride in the last look back at a property: borders crisp, no stray clippings on the pavement, the whole thing sitting quiet in the evening. Next week they come back and do it again, and it holds.
